Being rather partial to banjo’s myself I had a go at reconstructing one with a few tweaks thrown in. Specifications: Body: 160 year old Baltic Pine Neck: Tasmanian Oak including non adjustable truss rod Fretboard: Jarrah Features: Scale length 615 mm; adjustable Nut and Bridge; steel strings gauge 0.10 – 0.23; handmade tailpiece Finish: Burst finish with Nitro Cellulose Lacquer Body depth: 90 mm Body width: 270 mm Body length: 270 mm Overall length: 670 mm Neck width: 40 – 55 mm String spacing: 10 – 12 mm |

Constructed using a neck heel as opposed to through the body for better sound quality. Can be played as an acoustic instrument and through an amplifier.
